I'd suggest he hasn't shopped him and no one's asking because he can't play this season anyway. If there is gonna be interest, it'll come in the summer.

He will kick the tires. Always kicked them when he was here in Detroit too. He will also give up too much for whatever he gets.

This is where he is at his best though, trying to add to an already decent team

as an outsider fan of the game I actually think they've handled this asset well.
He's essentially had a "time-out" in something comparable to the AHL I guess...worked on his speed and maybe shooting. He should come back refreshed and renewed in the fall and play Oilers hockey. He's 21!
Smart not to sell low...and watch him blossom somewhere else.

I think it is wishful thinking that Neal doesn't end up costing the 3rd rounder. Even with him out for three more weeks he will still play in 12 games before the end of the season. One of those games includes an final game of the year vs. the Flames. Unless that game matters in the standings I could see Talbot or Ritiich fanning on a Neal shot or two to just snag that pick.
